It was finally time to wake up on a Sunday at stupid o’clock and drive down to Custom cars and coffee after a massive break. A new format was planned for the what is always a massive attraction for the captain munchies car park in Fremantle , this time around the street was blocked off enabling the event to be more controlled and have more parking for attendees and it still wasn’t enough!. By 8:15ish there wasn’t any more room and people had to be turned away , which is never a nice thing to do but when you have over 500 cars crammed into what was already an expanded format you can’t do anything else!
We arrived at 7:45am and the main car park was 99% full! And the event hadn’t officially started! the New format was awesome and if Jason and the crew can sort out a few more bugs ( such as a few complaints from locals due to the noise from cars so early ) i think things will work quite well for the future and we hope it continues as its clearly Perth’s biggest and most anticipated car gathering.
Being such a huge turnout and having to do so much catching up with some of the crew down there we shot around 60 odd photos, which still isn’t bad considering 🙂
Well we will keep you updated on what’s happening with the next event anyway 🙂
