August 9, 2018 @ 10:45 am – August 12, 2018 @ 3:30 pm Australia/Perth Timezone
Western Australia

The Make Smoking History Targa West is set to rev up Perth for the 15th time over the 9th & 12th August 2018. The competitors will compete on closed road special stages in and around Perth, Whiteman Park, Kalamunda (including the infamous Zig Zag), Toodyay, Chittering and Bullsbrook along with Malaga prior to the finalé at the City of Perth Special Stage along Riveride Drive next to the spectacular Swan River.

A Tarmac Rally is a unique form of motorsport where Tarmac Rally Cars compete on roads closed for competition. Cars start at 30 second intervals and race against the clock with the winner being the car that is fastest over all stages. Cars are grouped into classes and there are categories for Competition, Challenge and new for 2018 there is even an Electric Vehicle category.

There is a wide variety of cars competing including Classics like Ford Escorts and Mustangs, Toranas and Commodores to more modern turbocharged Mitsubishi Evos, Subaru WRXs and Nissan GTRs and even a range of Electric Vehicles like the Tesla Roadster and the ‘gull winged’ Tesla Model X. And what event would be complete without an exotic or two. What about a Ferrari 488 Spider or Porsche GT3 RS?

Spectating is FREE!!
