The 30th of November saw the running of the Wanneroo 300 at Barbagallo raceway
The Ferrari of Steve Wyatt was, as expected, faster in qualifying, followed by the porsche of Cade Bell and the Monaro of Peter Rullo.
During the 125 laps race Peter Rullo demonstrated was not simply a question of how fast your car could go, closing in lap after lap and ending up with the fastest lap of the race.
The day ended with a couple of thrilling moments, first the Ferrari of Claude Giorgi caught fire forcing him to retire, then the Monaro of Peter Rullo passed the Ferrari during one of the Pit stops, allowing him to win the race and be the only car to drive the all 125 laps.
Unfortunately for Peter it seemed one of the pit stops was a few seconds shorter than the 8 mandatory minutes, therefore the final result saw him relegated to 4th position.
At the end was Steve Wyatt to win the race followed by the Falcon BF of Grant Hill and the Porsche of Cade Bell.
Enjoy the photos 🙂
