Every cars and coffee we attend we will be pulling one car of the event organisers choice aside and doing a mini feature of it , this month’s choice is this beautiful green 1968 Camaro owned by Chris Spaulding
Chris purchased this beauty 5 years ago as a red bucket of bolts, he then spent 12 months transforming it to what it is today with many long hours and late nights in the shed. Everything from the body panels, every nut & bolt, electrical, chassis, suspension, brakes, interior was updated.
The engine consists of a 396 small block chev engine, Dart Little M block, Racer Pro Heads, Competition Engineering Solid Roller camshaft, Jesel shaft rockers, Victor Jr manifold with a Barry Grant 950 Silver Claw carbie, MSD Digital 6 ignition and Stewart Race Pumps fuel system.
The gearbox is a Fully manualised TH 400, 4000 stall Dominator converter, B&M shifter , pushing the power to a Fabricated 9inch diff with 3.9’s , Strange centre and Moser axles
Suspension details : Detroit Speed Quadralink Rear suspension with Koni adjustable coil overs, panhard bar, Detroit Speed Front coil over suspension with Koni adjustable shocks, 1 ¼ inch sway bay and RHD steering rack with Tilt column.
Brakes : Baer Claw 4 piston brakes with 13inch rotors and Detroit Speed Master Cylinder and Booster
Wheels : Front 17 X 8 Budnik wheels, 245/40/17 tyres
Rear 17 X 11 Budnik Wheels 315/35/17 Mickey Thompson tyres
Stereo: Custom Autosound with front splits and 6X9 rear
Interior: Black Leather with full Dakota Digital gauges, tilt column, billet wheel, electric windows
Paint colour Sublime Green by Sam @ Awesam Paintworks
Exhaust: Custom made 2 ¼ inch headers ceramic coated and full 3” stainless exhaust
