Roll Racing at Wanneroo Raceway @ Wanneroo Raceway
Aug 15 @ 5:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Roll Racing at Barbagallo Raceway!

Taking the Racing off the streets and onto the circuit. Roll Racing Perth will be all the street style racing you can handle without the risk of getting in trouble!

Roll Racing is all about having fun with your car and your mates and actually driving your car. We have designed this event to give you as much track time as possible and we strictly limit numbers to make sure you get value for money as an entrant.

The concept of the event is you race the car beside you from a rolling start just like if you were out on the highway- but in a safe and controlled environment. Come along and race your mates and see whose car really is the fastest.

Open to all types of registered vehicles. So come see domestics, imports and supercars battle it out!

Only $65 to race your car and you can enter at www.rollracing.com.au then click on the enter events tab and then click the Perth event.

Spectators also have the chance to ride along if they have a friend or partner driving. It is $10 for a Passenger band and you need to be OVER 18, have ID to prove you are over 18, sign a waiver, have a helmet, long sleeve shirt, long pants and enclosed shoes. No exceptions.

Gates open at 5.30pm – 10.30pm
Spectators $20 at the gate or $15 online prior to the event and Kids 13 and under are FREE

Cruise West 2020 @ Wanneroo Raceway
Aug 23 @ 8:30 am – 1:00 am

What is Cruise west?

Cruise West is your chance to take your family and friends out in your street car and drive around the famous Barbagallo Raceway in Wanneroo where the greats have battled it out in the past. Cruising rules are designed so that you can enjoy the track with your family in a safe manner surrounded by other enthusiasts.

RULES & REGULATIONS

Cruise West uses the Racers Happy Laps rules.

HAPPY LAPS ARE NOT HOT LAPS or TEST LAPS

Happy Laps are for family cruising not performance driving.

· Any car-to-car contact is an instant stop for the session

· Any car going off the track is an instant stop for the session

· >1 sec of tyre smoke is an instant stop for the session

· Speed obviously in excess of 120kph is an instant stop for the session; this is more than fair as there are over 100 events that hot drivers can use if they want to go fast.

As this is a non-competitive and reduced speed event, helmets are not permitted. The cars permitted on track must comply with local road registered vehicles. Road-registered vehicles only, no trailered cars and no cars with aftermarket roll cages.

All vehicles entering the track must be currently road-registered and showing registration plates.

ADDITIONAL NOTES

Drivers may be breath tested, anyone reading more than 0.00 will be banned from the track.

Track Action vehicles will be on the infield to observe track activity conditions.

Track Action will name and shame drivers who push the limits and cause a session to be cancelled.

We are also proud to announce that due to popular demand we will be starting a new event that kicks off at the end of each Cruise West called Skid West! Come out and enjoy a day of cruise and then once Cruise West finishes for $60 (you will also require a RACERS Clubman license which is $20 for the day or $75 for the year) you can get a wrist band and head out on the skidpan to fry some tyres!
Each driver can head onto the skidpan for a set amount of time and then go change tyres and line back up again!

Nishi-D Practice Day – Soukoukai Drift Event @ Drift School WA
Aug 29 @ 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

What is a Nishi-D soukoukai?

A ‘soukoukai’ (pronounced soh-ko-kai) is the Japanese word for ‘track meet’ or ‘practice day’. Naturally, as we replicate Japanese drift courses this is a fitting name for our events.

HOW DOES IT WORK? – Driving at a soukoukai event is simple & easy. Simply visit the website link, select the date, input your details, pay online and rock up on the day with your drift car, helmet, long sleeves, long pants, enclosed shoes and you’re good to go!

WHO WILL BE DRIVING? – Drivers are placed in groups with their friends, or with other drivers of similar skill level. This keeps the amount of cars out on track to a nice amount where there are no line ups and you can complete lap after lap to hone your skill. Solo run? Tandems? Team drift? It’s up to you!

MAXIMUM DRIVING TIME – All our lay outs are essentially a loop. This means all cars in your group are out on track and there is no requirement for a flag marshal to signal you to do a lap. You may drift the entire time with little interruptions.

TECHNICAL & EXCITING – Typically, our replicated lay outs have been chosen for a reason. They are designed to push the driver and challenge their skill, we believe this is an exciting way to drive and technically skillful drivers will find that doing the course correctly is very rewarding.

COMPETITIVE? – A soukoukai is catered to being a fun & relaxed atmosphere to enjoy drifting together (keep the egos at home). At the end of the day, we hold a small tournament with qualifying and solo/tandem battles, with beautiful trophies presented to the top 3.

PRIZES – Every driver in our soukoukai will go home with a gift, ranging from something as simple as potato chips, to a pair of wheels! A raffle is drawn and fun games like group scissors paper rock (jan ken pon) are played for some big prizes! Stay till the end!

FUN WITH FRIENDS – One of the best ways to enjoy drifting, is taking your friends & family as a passenger to show them what you do. This is a great way to help them understand the sport of drifting, and for a passenger wristband of $50, they can ride with you all day.
