Hot Rods To Hell 2013

by

hrth1  Hot Rods to hell 2013 was on again last weekend and it’s another favourite on the Perth show scene as it embodies the rockabilly side of the scene more than the others do. Unfortunately this year the business that front the main bdlg would not let them use the side area that they used last year and that meant at least a dozen cars couldn’t fit inside the show area, even though they were more outside the fence line, it would have been nice to have them park inside for people to admire. but what can they do, a few stall holders also seemed to be missing or more of the elite cars were not inside the main front of the bdlg as per last year too, but i spose this meant more room for traders and general room for people to meander around and chat.

Inside was all go again with some traders and people getting out of the heat with the kiddies enjoying the magician show and us adults hrth2having a refreshing cider or 3 plus some tasty burgers as well, with a couple of bands playing i think i stayed inside more than out this year, not that i can complain, chatting with friends and having an ale was definitely the way to go 😉

All in all it was another treat for the car community of Perth and was well received by the looks, crowds coming in seemed to be as good as last year so hopefully it will grow a little bit and hopefully gain some more space next year!
hrth3till then oo-roo 😉  DB
